ABOUT Donald Corley: I retired and resigned as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, in Gonzales, Texas, in 1991; this completed a career of fifty years as a minister, after serving as Director of Pastoral Care at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, and as pastor of Baptist and Presbyterian Congregations. Mrs. Corley and I moved back to Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where I had served for nine years as pastor of the Arkadelphia First Presbyterian Church. I embarked on a hobby of writing and self-publishing fiction and non-fiction books, and teaching philosophy at Henderson State University, as adjunct faculty. In 2007, I retired again. My book, The Christian Pastor's Work contains additional personal information.

Lynell Sandifer Corley died in January, 2009, after a three-month struggle with Multiple Myeloma.
